TWO PHASE SEPARATORS
Designed specifically for oil and gas. The well stream enters the separator and strikes a inlet deflector which diverts the liquid and gas downstream to the liquid section where it begins to separate.
After adequate retention time, liquid builds up in the bottom of the tank and lifts a float, through a linkage to dump the fluid.
THREE PHASE SEPARATORS
Designed specifically for oil, gas and water.
Essentially the same as a two phase except the separator has an internal inlet downcomer, which carries the fluid to the bottom of the vessel for added retention and separation time.
Both two-phase and three-phase separators can be cylindrical and spherical shapes.
Position difference:
- Vertical three-phase separator
- Vertical two-phase separator
The vertical position of the separator ensures high efficiency and a more complete separation of gas, even at very low concentrations. A higher degree of gas saturation of oil requires horizontal separator to separate them. Such a device is relatively cheaper than vertical.
Separators packaging of carried out individually depending on the project.
Standard Features:
counter flange (upstream end, discharge nozzle and drain connections);
pressure gage/manometer.
autodrain
level bridle, made for a visual and (or) the automatic control of the current level of the liquid fraction;
pressure-relief valve;
temperature sensor;
heating of the separator vessels made of heating cable or hot water (steam);
insulation of the vessel separators with pipeline casing.
